Zativo caters to private customers only, and does not supply commercial or industrial growers with large amounts of cannabis seeds. If we have reason to suspect that the ordered seeds are destined for growing cannabis on a larger-than-private scale, we reserve the right to dismiss that specific order.
Safety in your grow room is an essential part of a successful cannabis grow. It may seem boring, but making sure you are playing it safe, in terms of both grow safety as well as discretion, will ensure you do not end up on the local evening news as the fool who burnt down his house.
Safety in your cannabis grow room is vital. You will be dealing with a lot of electricity and water – a deadly combination.
Firstly consider your HID lights; they are not just a source of energy for your cannabis plants, but also a massive drain, or even an attack, on your energy network. For this reason it is very important to make sure all of your lighting equipment is of a high quality; shoddy, cheap lights are nothing but a serious and real fire hazard. Make sure to have a ballast plugged in between the light and power supply for a safely regulated supply. Never plug your lights directly into the mains, you will cause yourself a lot of problems doing so.
Make sure that your power sources are well regulated. Humidity levels in your grow room are going to get high, which could potentially cause electrical faults if you are not careful. You do not want to take chances when it comes to electricity. And of course, illegal wire-tapping is a massive no-no.
Make sure your water trays do not overflow or located near electrical equipment. The last thing you want is a spill that shorts out a circuit, or even worse, starts a fire. You need to take just as much care with your water as you do with your power sources – the two really do not mix well!
Also consider the layout of your grow space and how clean it is. It is important to keep it organized and clutter free. Wires snaking across the floor or a stray watering-can can pose a trip hazard. This is not just a risk to your health, but also the health of your grow room; you do not want to trip and knock over half your plants, or heavens forbid, trays containing excess water – it is a disaster waiting to happen.
