NYC Diesel Auto is obviously the autoflowering version of the beloved legend New York City Diesel. The addition of Ruderalis significantly lowered the size of the plant compared to the original and yet it is possible to rake in 400-600g/m² from this 90-100cm plant. The smell of the buds is intense, but the flavor of the smoke is a citrus fruit explosion!

NYC Diesel Auto: classic-gone-auto strain with a balanced indica-sativa high
The NYC Diesel Auto is an autoflowering indica-dominant hybrid strain that is brought to you by Barney's Farm. The strain came to life by crossing the beloved NYC Diesel with a stable ruderalis. NYC Diesel was bred in the 80's, by crossing a Sour Diesel and an Afghan and Hawaiian male. This NYC Diesel variant has a 60:40 ratio of indica and sativa genes.
Barney's Farm made sure to create a robust and versatile strain, viable for indoor and outdoor growing. The adding of ruderalis genes to the NYC Diesel made the strain grow shorter, with average heights around 90-100cm. Despite being short, this strain won't let you down yield wise; it is still possible to produce 400-600g/m² of superb buds. Another thing for which we can thank the ruderalis genes is that it takes only 9-10 weeks to go from seed to harvest.
The NYC Diesel Auto has a very intense and pungent smell that reminds of diesel fuel, hence the name. The flavor, however, is a citrus delight with lime and grapefruit notes, taking your taste buds for a whirl. The buzz you get from smoking this strain makes for a great ride. It starts out with a strong cerebral effect that is uplifting, euphoric and lasts for a long time, making it perfect for that morning wake and bake. After a couple of hours, the body stone takes over and grants your body some deep relaxation. With this in mind, it is safe to say that the NYC Diesel Auto can be used as a great way to relieve some stress.
